Once this is done, the Receiver will automatically connect to the device it was last paired with, and you will be able to use it with hundreds of apps that require location information. There is a quick set up process that includes pairing your device with the Receiver. Once trivlally Bluetooth-paired, the GPS Just Works with TomTom, RouteBuddy Atlas, Maps etc. Bluetooth-enabled tablets & laptops The XGPS150 is very simple to use. I haven't tried it in a Cali yet (ours is on order!) so I'm not sure how easy it'll be to mount the iPad, but I'm sure we'll think of something! NOTE: the blue Bluetooth light on the GPS will continue to flash, even after pairing is complete. Now that the TomTom iPhone app also works with the iPad, I decided to use the iPad as a huge GPS. Tap the XGPS150A when it appears in the list, and Windows will pair with the GPS. In case you've got an iPad, or are thinking about getting one for Christmas, I've just found another good use for ours. and read this forum! (and it fits in the safe nicely) We found having an iPad really helpful in the Cali we hired, as we could use it to play music, watch films, browse the web.
